Uptown Sign low resolution

Second Semester is just around the corner and many students are arriving at school empty-handed. What supplies they do have are almost gone: backpack zippers are broken, erasers are worn down and pencils are nubs.   Donations are needed for Classroom Central programs to ensure our region's students living in need have the school supplies needed to be successful in the classroom.

How can you help?

1 - Donate financially on our website.

2 - Organize a supply drive (for tips and most needed supplies, click here.)

3 - Bring donations & supplies to one of the three drives happening below, or to Classroom Central (2116 Wilkinson Boulevard, weekly Monday-Thursday from 8AM-Noon):

-February 6: Uptown Supply Drive from 10AM-2PM at the corner of Trade & Tryon

-February 8: School supply drive at the Charlotte Bobcats vs. San Antonio Spurs game

-February 9: School supply drive at the Charlotte Checkers vs. Oklahoma City Barons game

4 - Attend the Charlotte Bobcats game February 8 or Charlotte Checkers game February 9 for which a portion of proceeds go to Classroom Central if you use the links below:

Bobcats - code BUZZ

Checkers - code classroom

5 - Rally your social networks by informing them about the need for school supplies and inspiring them to take action.
