As we begin the final month of the school year, we’d like to celebrate the hardworking individuals responsible for our educating students. During the first week of May, Classroom Central celebrates #TeacherAppreciationWeek! We do this through a number of social media posts and events that take place.

We expanded our hours, offering four afternoon shops and one morning shop during #TeacherAppreciationWeek. During shopping, we had plenty of door prizes and raffles that took place every 3-5 minutes!

Starting Monday May 1st, we posted teacher spotlights on all of our social media outlets. Teachers told us either their favorite thing about being a teacher, the hardest part of being a teacher, or why they became a teacher. We shared their answers via social media.

On May 2nd, the Charlotte Knights celebrated teachers with a “Teacher Appreciation Night” of their own. This took place at 7 p.m. at BB&T Stadium in Uptown Charlotte.  Blaine Jackson, Board Chair of Classroom Central, spoke during the game about the mission of Classroom Central and why we are so focused on supporting area teachers & students.

May the Fourth be with you! On the much celebrated “Star Wars Day”, Classroom Central used the theme to appreciate teachers in the store for all that they do and educating our future leaders in the Charlotte area. Wilson’s World made an appearance to talk about teacher appreciation and how important they are to us as well as to show his love for Star Wars!  Check out the Wilson's World Show featuring May The Fourth Be With You at Classroom Central

Special thanks to Carowinds and TCBY for sponsoring #TeacherAppreciationWeek! We love celebrating all of the awesome things they do for our area students!
