Duke lights up our day!

This summer, we were grateful for an energetic team from Duke Energy.    About 30 of their team members joined us to assist in a variety of projects around the warehouse.

Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

In the fiscal year 2012-2013, Classroom Central benefitted from 13,400 volunteer hours. Our volunteers include both groups (from corporations, clubs & organizations, schools & universities, to faith groups) as well as individuals.  Many of our individual volunteers commit to Classroom Central in such a way that it is equivalent to a part or full time job.   From former teachers to those just passionate about giving back to the community, we are fortunate to have all of them join us in achieving our mission to equip kids living in poverty with school supplies. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do every day.
