Panthers Pump Up Albemarle Road Elementary

Posted by: classroomcentral in Blog, Celebrations 5 years, 6 months ago

A few weeks ago, Albemarle Road Elementary had a surprise they won’t soon forget.  The entire school was bused to Grady Cole Center for a Dr. Seuss Reading Spectacular hosted by the Carolina Panthers. As the school’s auditorium only fit 300 students and the school population was 1400, the Carolina Panthers organized buses and the rental of the arena to fit the high-energy event.  The importance of reading 20 and playing 60 (minutes per day) was emphasized through creative games and activities.   Over a dozen students were selected to participate in special games and to interact directly with players  Thomas Davis (58) and Graham Gano (9).

Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do every day.
