Our goal this year is big! It is based on the students in poverty enrolled at CMS and their needs for the year:
This year, there are several ways to help students have the supplies they need:
1 - HOST A SUPPLY DRIVE - To sign up, contact Aubrye Carr, Development Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org who will send you resources and can help answer any questions about engaging your employees or group members by hosting a supply drive.
2 - HOST A VIRTUAL DRIVE - Our Amazon Wishlist is a quick and easy way to help kids this Summer. The supplies will be shipped directly to Classroom Central. To receive a receipt or to credit your donation to your company's efforts, make sure that when Amazon prompts you to verify / enter text into the 'gift receipts', please put your email and company name. Otherwise, we will just receive it anonymously.
3 - DONATE TO CLASSROOM CENTRAL'S ONGOING OPERATIONS - Your financial support helps cover the facility costs, transportation and staff hours to maximize product donations. This helps us make sure the supplies donated from the public most efficiently end up in the hands of students who need them. You may give online, or by sending a check made out to "Classroom Central" to Classroom Central - 2116 Wilkinson Blvd - Charlotte, NC 28208. To ensure that financial donations are credited to your organization's supply drive total, make sure you designate the donation to School Tools using the drop down box and also indicate your group name in the Company/Organization Name box when filling out the form or write your organization name in the memo line of the check.
