Volunteer to earn extra shopping trips to Classroom Central.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our free store.  They dedicate their time to stock our shelves and staff the store when you and your colleagues are here shopping.  Without the dedication of our volunteers, Classroom Central would not be able to provide you and your students with free materials for the classroom.

The groups listed below are eligible to receive ONE free shopping certificate per month in exchange for a three-hour volunteer shift.  Certificate can be used anytime during the academic year.

We need volunteers year-round.  Consider volunteering during the school year, summer, over the holidays or on a teacher workday. 

To earn shopping trips for eligible shoppers (full-time public school teachers in Mecklenburg county, Union county, Iredell county, Gaston county and Rock Hill and Kannapolis schools) individuals and groups may take the opportunity to "Adopt-a-Shift" and earn a free shopping trip certificate for every six hours of volunteerism at Classroom Central.
