Who qualifies to shop at Classroom Central? Full-time teachers, full-time teacher assistants (NEW), principals, assistant principals, guidance counselors, social workers, school psychologists, dean of students, CIS, BMT’s, ESL teachers, facilitators, lead secretaries, instructional coaches, media specialists, resource teachers, speech therapists/pathologists, full-time ASEP (NEW), AP,  IF, SAC, SBS, and REACH.

Who does not qualify to shop? At this time part-time teachers, administrative staff, custodial staff, bus drivers, coaches, interns, substitutes, home school teachers, day care providers or personnel who do not provide direct instruction to students all day, every day.

Store shopping: Please bring your own bags/boxes.

CMS teachers: at check-in you’ll be asked to present your red and white CMS photo ID (district). This is required and enforced. Failure to present the appropriate ID will result in forfeiture of your appointment.

Non-CMS teachers: at check-in you’ll be asked to present your school/district photo ID. This is required and enforced. Failure to present the appropriate ID will result in forfeiture of your appointment.

Inclement weather: Classroom Central does not follow the school districts closing schedule. In the event of inclement weather, please call 704.377.1740 after noon to listen to the main greeting. If we are closed, you will need to cancel your shopping appointment by midnight on the day of your scheduled shop or lose your shopping trip for the month.

Cell phone and guest policy: Due to the limited space and time available during teacher shopping, children, guests, and cell phones are not permitted.

Itty-Bitty homework assignments: We only accept high-quality Itty Bitty homework assignments as these are sent to donors.

Parking: Classroom Central has limited parking on the property. To better serve you, we have leased the field in the adjacent lot.

• Please do not double-park or obstruct the entrance, exit or another car with your vehicle.
• Please park on the outer edge/fence line first and keep valuables out of plain sight.
• Grocery carts must remain in the store.
• Carpool if you can!
