Supply Drives

Supplies are needed year round at Classroom Central!

School Tools
One of our biggest supply drives every year is School Tools. Classroom Central partners with Communities In Schools and WSOC-TV in August for this month-long back to school supply drive.

This year was another huge success thanks to the many companies and individuals that either hosted a collection site or made donations at various locations during the drive. With your help and support, we received over 52,000 pounds of school supplies!!

Give Kids a Book
Many of the students served by Classroom Central have one or zero age-appropriate books at home. Throughout the month of March, Classroom Central partners with Charlotte Reads at the Library and LittleOnes Magazine for Give Kids a Book. This supply drive seeks to put a book in the hands of children for whom the idea of a bedtime story may be a fantasy.

Donations of new and gently-used books are accepted at various collections sites and some partner collection sites offer discounts to customers that donate. Whether it a book that has been sitting on the shelf or a brand new one, support of this supply drive can help make a huge impact in the life of a child.

Stuff the Bus
It may seem that football and school supplies have nothing in common, but every year Stuff the Bus brings to the two together. Football fans donate supplies during a Carolina Panthers' preseason game, from pencils and paper to binders and book bags. A great game and a chance to help students start the school year off right!
