"Show & Tell" luncheons

Two Thursday’s a month from 11:30-12:30, Classroom Central hosts a "Show & Tell" luncheon/tour for members of the Charlotte community. Lunch is on us, and all we ask of you is one hour of your time to learn more about Classroom Central and the lives we touch. "School Tools" August 1-31
Every August Classroom Central, Communities In Schools, WSOC-TV, the NC Air National Guard and many other organizations partner to sponsor this major supply drive for the back-to-school season. School supplies are collected throughout the community to help ensure that all students start the new school year with the tools they need to be successful in the classroom. "Stuff the Bus", August
Thousands of students across Mecklenburg and surrounding counties receive new school supplies each year as Carolina Panthers fans kick off the new season by donating school supplies at a preseason home game. "Educate Your Palate" on November 8, 2007
In November, Classroom Central holds our annual fundraising gala, "Educate Your Palate”, held at Quail Hollow Country Club. The event includes a live and silent auction, keynote teacher speaker, and culinary creations from some of Charlotte’s finest chefs. "Give Kids a Book" March 1-31
Give Kids a Book is a partnership between Classroom Central, Charlotte Reads @ The Library and LittleOnes Magazine to obtain new or gently-used books for children in grades Pre-K through 12th. Companies and community organizations serve as collection sites around the community. In March 2007, "Give Kids a Book" collected over 13,000 books for students in need in the Charlotte region! "Color a Brighter Future" April 29, 2008
In spring, Classroom Central hosts our annual Color a Brighter Future Breakfast. This fundraising breakfast is a one hour event open to the public. It includes entertainment from a local school, a teacher speaker as well as an update on Classroom Central. All are welcome to attend to learn more about Classroom Central and the students we serve.
